"The water absorption is weak, the durability of the EPS block is strong, and it can have the same life as the building. One-time use can ensure the building's life-long thermal insulation, avoiding the shortage of multiple constructions.

The new material EPS blocks are lightweight and heat-insulating. The dry apparent density of self-insulating EPS foamed concrete blocks is about 500kg/m³ at least, and the strength is ≥3.5Mpa. This material is nearly 50% lighter than ordinary bricks. Lightweight blocks can reduce the weight of the building and at the same time reduce the pressure of the building on the foundation, save the size of beams and columns and other structures, and save engineering costs. There are billions of closed foam cells per cubic meter in the EPS blocks or bricks, and these large numbers of honeycomb-shaped closed foam cells have good thermal insulation performance, which is not available in the external wall thermal insulation materials currently on the market.
